Residential Sandblasted Signs

Below, you will find samples of our most elegant and professional looking signs. Sandblasting is a process of blasting parts of the sign away with bits of sand whcich leaves raised parts, creating a look of three dimensional. We then hand paint the signs so that each has it's own personality. Whether your home or business needs a sign, we'd be happy to help you design one that's right for you.

These are about as plain and simple as they get. Very short, sweet and to the point.

This is another simple sign, but is a little different than those above. The letters are actually blasted into the wood and the area that surrounds the text is actually raised.

Below are samples of some of the more complex sandblasted signs we have done. We have a large variety of shapes that the sign can be, or if you have one in mind, we can use that as well. Because we handpaint this type of sign, it allows for greater detail and a more natural looking blend of colors.

These two signs were ordered here in the mountains and then taken to the beach to be used. For you folks who live out of town, we'd be happy to communicate with you via phone or email and then ship the sign to you upon completion.

This particular customer wanted their border to look like a lasso. They chose a sign blank from our templates, then gave the sign it's own personality.

This is an example of just how detailed we can make these signs look. The turtles were silhouettes and we were able to make them look like sea turtles. The type of material used here is sign foam. When we use a special tool, we can actually make foam look like a wood sandblasted sign. Here, the customer preferred a stipple effect.

Does this sign look like wood or foam? It's actually foam that is made to look like wood. Most people cannot tell the difference.

Below are two more samples of foam sandblasted signs. The picture on the right is actually cut out around ice cream cone. Possibilities for your sign are absolutely endless!

When it comes to fonts, graphics and colors, your choices are endless. We have about 15,000 different fonts, so if you have an idea of what type of font you'd like please share it with us. For graphics, we subscribe to clipart.com, so feel free to take a look to see what we offer. And color choices are just about as extensive. If you don't see something you like in our choices, you can bring in paint we can use, then we'll return it once the sign is complete.

If you don't want a colored background, we can stain the wood to seal it and then paint the remainder of it with your choice of oil based colors. Shown on the right are Houndears signs. We make most of the signs in the Houndears residential community. We keep an updated requirement sheet for their sign specifications, so stop on in and we'll get you fixed up!

These signs have frames and posts. As shown, we can paint the posts to match the signs and can do different post toppers.

These are all sandblasted foam signs. The advantage over wood is that foam is very lightweight. But, foam can be shattered with one swing of a baseball bat.

Other Sandblasted Items

This is yoke that is used with plow horses.

Below is only part of what we blasted. We actually sandblasted a mantle to go above a fire place in a mountain home.

We can also sandblast some marble and stone. If there is a specific type of stone you have in mind, you can get the rock and we can blast on it - as long as there's a smooth surface in the area you want blasted.
